I think that these pictures do a bit more justice to my new lenses (but I think they will show their best side in nature). The Ipernity resizing is not very good, btw Sad

Here is my new Chinon 55/1.7, stopped down to f/4. The colors that this lens produces are very natural. In my experience all Takumar lenses that I own, produce slightly warmer colors.

Strictly spoken, the Takumar colors are a bit too warm (same WB settings), but the lens delivers a certain "3D effect" that the Chinon doesn't have.

As a comparison, here is the same scene (handheld shots) using my CZJ Sonnar 135/3.5.

Both the Takumar 135/3.5 and the Sonnar 135/3.5 were used fully open here. I think differences in character would be more clear at a longer focusing distance, and a smaller diaphragm. However, in this shot, I think the Sonnar is the best of the three.

And a last one, from a different angle, with a SMC Takumar 55/2:

Sine beautiful pictures there. I have 3 x Auto Chinon 55/1.7, all different. I will post some comparisons up tonight if I have time Smile
