Sounds like too good a deal to be true?
Especially when both the 18mm & 50mm are near mint and boxed...

Well that's how much it cost me...

There is just one small catch

It takes 110 film

Yes I wandered into my local camera shop at lunchtime (never a good idea ) and spotted a Pentax Auto 110 with standard lens fitted, and a couple of boxed additional lens. The owner hadn't had a chance to test the camera so just charged me for the two boxed lenses and gave me the camera & standard lens free (I'm a good customer as well ). Hopefully it will work okay - the meter lights up at least
Now I don't like small (35mm) SLRs, I don't like fully auto exposure control, I don't like plastic bodies, I know there's only 400 ISO film available with any real ease, etc. but there is something about this camera I couldn't resist.
I'm itching to have a play _________________ Richard

Here it is
Well I've found a cartridge of in-date Kodak Gold 400, filed off the tab so that the camera correctly reads it as 400 and loaded it.
The viewfinder is surprisingly good with a decent split focus.
If the metering is accurate (and it seems so), if the peculiar body based aperture is functioning correctly and if I can find somewhere to develop it I'm expecting a set of sharp but very grainy prints! _________________ Richard

Congratulations.
I think the main problem would be finding film and processing it.

Thanks for those.
Rick Oleson has a good page too: http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-116.html
I've ran a cartridge through it (well a little over half a cartridge as the shutter stopped cocking consistently - anyone have any ideas?), found a processor and posted it off.
The weather was pretty grim so perhaps ISO 400 wasn't too bad a film.
We shall see... _________________ Richard
