Awesome image Cool

I'd no idea the Russian glass would fit the Pentax bodies.

Oh fabulous! pentax 645 bodies are cheap, but the glass is big bucks. Maybe I can afford to build a kit afterall Cool

Not that it will produce images like this in my hands Embarassed

Beautiful photo, Laurence. The tone is pretty incredible. Have you tried the 35mm Adox 25? I have a roll in my MX currently and am rather excited over what the results may be.

Patience! The Arsat is a quite superb lens, even more than I expected, and I'm hoping to get some trannies back this week.

TRULY the way to go, Graham. Yes, the bodies have really dropped in price to an amazing level. But the 645D has
sure punched up the lens prices. Nothing wrong at ALL with the Russian lenses. I'll put it this way: they are FAR better
than I could ever catch up to in my photography. This Volna, for instance, is a KILLER for supressing flare, at least
from what I've seen. Must be all those purple and green coatings. Shocked

Just ask Attila. He knows how the Russian lenses are for quality. Cool

As far as producing images, all you have to do is point and shoot, man.

William I actually DO have 2 rolls of Adox 25 in 35mm. The only 35mm camera I have left is the Pentax ZX-5N plastic
fantastic. I even sold off the Contax AX, much as I hated to. But, I am whittling things down to what works best for me.
You know how it is, things come and things go. I plan to take a stroll with the Sonnar 180/2.8 on the ZX-5N. P6 > PK adapter.

oh, you sold the AX, too bad. it seemed to really fit you...

Please show the results if you shoot them on the ZX-5N! From what I've seen on Flickr insane contrast and no doubt resolving too is possible.

It DID fit me, darn it. I just HAVE to cut things down, and will end up with probably the
Pentax 645 (for sure), and either the X100 or X10.

By the way, I'll always thank you for getting me into the AX and its beautiful lines and
wonderful features. At least now I know about the camera, and since my life is not exactly
over yet, there may be another one in my quiver.
