Here are some images I shot using a Pentacon 50mm f1.8 on my Sony A6000
I got the lens from a charity shop just before Christmas without doing any research.
When I got home I read some indifferent reviews and held back using it.
After searching the web for images and seeing a posting on here of some pics in Budapest i decided the reviews were a tad unfair.
The pictures are my dog (shot about f2/8 .. if i put a point 8 it gets converted to a smile !), my daughter (shot about f5.0) and a lamp outside the entrance to our local church (about f16).
My whippet dog and my daughter were post processed in Rawtherapee (RAW file) and GIMP. The mono shot was a direct edit of the jpeg file in GIMP
The lens is in mint condition and is a keeper for sure
Hope you like these too

Splendid! Pentacon is bulletproof formula. Just finding a good sample and sticking to it. _________________ ---------------------------------
