It is so nice too see these Pancolars in one place...I have two Star wars 2/50s and love them both.I see yours has the original front grip.

Just have to ask about the "star wars" version, does it only come in exakta mount? Thats the only one I've seen on the 'bay.

The manual for my Praktica Nova 1B (M42 mount) has pictures of the camera with a 2/50 Starwars aus Jena Pancolar.. The camera was introduced in 1967, and by then the 1.8/50 Pancolar had been released according to the list of lenses.

wow, how lovely Attila!
I only have used two versions of MC 1.8/50 ( one 'electric MC', the other only 'MC' ) and sharpness and bokeh are first class!
However I must say that personally I didn't like the colors they rendered, unlike Peterqd I found them very different to those rendered by my Takumars. However that was on the Pentax *istDs which showed much greater difference of color rendering of different lenses than my later Pentax K-x and Sony NEX5n do. I should try this lens again on the Sony!

Kuuan,I would certainly try them again.

My lenses start with the serial numbers 64*****,66*****.
