Behind my house is the countryside and I saw this bird of prey.

I mounted the Tamron SP 500 f8 on the Tamron doubler 01F and the whole on the 5D Mark II.
I raised isos at 640 to be at speed 1/1000s

Hand held... Confused

It sure hasn't the Canon L 500 f4 quality, but for the price and at this distance with a 1000mm f16, it's okay for me. Wink

It seems it's the very first sunny day since summer began...

Ther was only one bird. Wink

This is a very challenging stuff, hard to get good success, I think doubler did ruin well picture quality and huge distance also not helpful.
You did solve pretty well this hard job.
