My most useful Macro accessory.
A focus rail is the way to go.

So.. After browsing around for 5 minutes and being tired already. What lenschoices do we have for 32f? Looked in my cabinet and decided that what I thought was 32f must have been me looking at the adapter to a Tamron adapt all Wink.

I have a schacht Travegar 3,5/105 "R" head in M39 , which came with a Novoflex Bellows f/32 . 3 elements triplet formula. Then , my Angénieux 3,5/135 and steinheil auto D tele quinar are f/32 . An then an old Zeiss Triotar 6,3/135 which stops down to f/50 and more (f/90 ? - not marked) .
Only one gave me decent results at f/32 : Travegar 3,5/105, but contrast shuts down a lot.
The triotar gave Chromatic aberrations, and a pure "Hamilton" effect without any grease on the frontal .
Not so easy , I'm afraid.Long teles (400 - 800) stops down often at f/32 but are quite unusable for macro purpose (Weight, dimensions, minimal focus distance ,...)

Helios
Did you try apo sironar o repronar? Excellents results for me. Only need the old bellow and patient to adapt them to this. No very problematic.
