this lens seems to have something on it's own

may I ask, which camera? a FF Canon?

I use Sigma SD14 (1.7x crop Foveon sensor)

WOW Jiri,

wonderful shot, colors, sharpness, bokeh all very fine!!

That is a gem of a (Sonnar) lens, too bad they changed
that famous design so soon...

P.S.: f2.8 is (was) my sweet spot for that lens, too

I like the overall picture - composition, light and exposure - the photographers work.
From technical point of view, I think that other lenses can do better job here, due to strong red/green CAs I see in bokeh.
On the other side, sharpness, colors and contrast looks OK to me.
