I received an Olympus Pen-F 100/3.5 lens today. I was so lucky, my lens is in mint condition.

The lens is only slightly larger than a Voigtländer 90/3.5 Apo-Lanthar. Very cute, and seems to have great character. Sharpness is good but it doesn't handle flare very well, even with the original hood. Can't say much about the bokeh yet but what I saw on the screen looked good.

This is another lens that is going to go up in value, they can still be had for a modest amount of money.

I will upload a few pictures later on when I have charged the battery.

Once you get your battery charged, please take some photos of the lens as well as some sample photos taken by the lens. thanks

No problem, will do.

Btw, I received this "RJ Camera pen F -m4/3" adapter as part of the deal. Can this adapter be used with a 4/3 camera like the OM-D as well?

m43 vs 43 adapters will give different infinity capabilities

Wide open f3.5 more to follow. Handheld and I'm not sure that the focus was spot on. ISO 400 1/640s. Sony NEX-5N.

As far as I know, OM-D is also M43, not 43...

It's cold outside so I put on some warm clothes thismorning and went out for a short walk with the new lens. I snapped away a few shots in order to have something to post on the forum. Nothing artsy but here we go:

Great lens!!!!

Smooth bokeh, good resolution and contrast.

In Montevideo (Uruguay) a lot of professional photographers of wedings use mix system (film and DSRL). And with film, the Olympus pen F series.

I'm understanding why.

Wow... this got me humiliated... amazing, fantastic pictures... and I thought I started to learn a few things about photography, then I come here and see such amazing pictures - need to go back to the drawing-board, and humbly learn some more...

Fantastic bokeh and great images!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked the pictures, but they really aren't that good Embarassed

The lens is great but a little bit tricky. I think that it has great character and it is sharp enough, even wide open. It surely is one of the more underrated Pen-F's. Actually, everything I've read about it has been great, but no-one seems to use this lens...

great samples!
I am also certain that it's price will increase.
it certainly also makes a great portrait lens, might have shown those before in a thread about "Cosplay in Taipeh", on NEX5N:

Kuuan: I saw that cosplay post of yours, stunning pictures! This lens delivers.

RTI: the colors are great but the light was good today, it makes a difference.

Hifisapi: This is just outside my front door, a great place to live. A small town called Jakobstad in Finland.

I still don't think I am experienced enough as a photographer, but I really like your samples and I reckon you have a very nice lens.

Hold onto it!

Nice photographs as well! Cool
