How come there are no m42 or m39 adapters for the OM series of cameras?

Due register distance, both M39 and M42 not give infinity and OM is discontinued film camera , no reason to make adapter for a few people who do like to play.

I can buy M42 to Minolta adapter, and M42 to Canon FD, to Yashica, Konica etc because I like to play.

But M42 to Olympus is only suitable for macro. I could make one if I had something with the OM bayonet - like a T mount

Much as I love my old OM1n if my information is correct I don't think it can be achieved, see attached spreadsheet screenshot. I compiled the sheet while trying to achieve a suitable T mount adaptor combination for a mirror lens to my EOS 400D.

@ trev. There is an adapter provided by Rugift. It has a correction lens in it though. I got one years ago rather pricey. Image quality is average. See the link http://www.rugift.com/photocameras/olympus_om_adapter_with_lens.htm You have to consider if it is worth to buy one if you are not using M42 lenses often.
At the time I bought mine I had some Zenit M42 bodies and an Olympus OM-1 Regards, Cliff.
