How long does it take to get this good??

Why does everyone's pictures look like postcards compared to anything I turn out.

Love them all, specially the graffiti walls.

Shoots from straight out camera most of the many times look 'dead' and not sharp enough in smaller publishing jpg size.
Shoot in RAW, do minimum auto contrast and color and sharpen a bit at least save in jpg and resize it.
If auto contrast , color fix go wrong do by manual settings.
Try to use always safe speed to avoid handshaking let say above 1/125 at short focal length, at longer focal length use shorter speed or tripod.

If take my suggestion it will be very fast Wink

Not tried raw shooting yet.

Will try it when I get my new lens (Helios 44-2 - as recommended by someone on this forum)
