I've had a bunch of standard f/1.2 lenses (Pentax K, Minolta 58, Canon 55 Aspherical and Noct-Nikkor) and they are all very very good. All have plenty of character and a good sample (without fungus and haze) will be sharp enough for most applications. The tricky part is to use them well, I found.
