The Nikon 75-150mm f/3.5 Series E was one of my first MF lenses. I used it extensively in the beginning, but it sees little use today. Nevertheless, I'm sufficiently impressed by this lens that I won't sell it Smile

Its a perfectly fine lens, I have had one for 12+ years.

Unfortunately now its also neglected. Its really a replacement for a 135mm prime.
There are just too many lenses in this category that are really good.

A "must have" lens for each Nikon user. Unfortunately the zoom mechanism is very often too loose.

Here a sample with this lens and D700

I have it too Wink and I find the loose zoom an advantage

The loose zoom is very easy to work with if you do e.g. street photography or portraiture, but if you want to use it on a tripod...
