I decided to check which lens is "better" on the chart.

Both are in excellent condition ...

#1

#2

Using crop x2 camera I've got the following results:

Centre:

Borders:

Looks like Nikkor lens has edge over the Distagon, something which I didn't expected to be honest ... Rolling Eyes Maybe my Distagon is a bad copy ? Or is Nikon that good ? What are your thoughts ?

when a lens is better than a distagon, I redo the test until the distagon win Laughing
ps: don't forget that Zeiss lenses are optimized for infinity

Hmm, maybe that's the case ... Smile

Here's bokeh comparision, both are at F2.8 aperture (click for bigger size):

Nikkor

Distagon

I personally prefer the Distagon ... it's more like brush strokes compared to the creamy Nikkor bokeh Smile

Bokehwise, the Nikkor wins, for me.

It would be interesing to know,
how the Flektogon 35/2.4 compares to them.
