Hi all, I have not been around much as my camera is in the shop. The day I got this nikkor lens, I shot a few test shots with it,
then went and shot a water polo match and the mirror decided it was not going to flip up anymore...
Anyway I finally borrowed my old Pentax K100d back and took a couple of shots with the Nikkor again.

Here was my favorite

Also thought I would throw in a couple of Helios 44M shots with the K100d
the background is a snowflake drawing she made and she wanted that in the picture.

And my fave with the Helios was this one at family movie night. These two crashed before the movie ended.
The room was pitch dark exept the glow of the tv. Had to boost to ISO 3200 and I could not see to focus, but I like how it came out.

These went over like a lead balloon in the Pentax forums. So I came here to get a little MF love!

Happy Holidays to everyone
gus

Very nice portrait shots and I totally agree with you about the last shot. Sometimes it is not the IQ or the sharpness but it is all about catching the time. Last one's gonna be a nice memory to your family, I am sure of that.

Well done...

Gorgeous!
#1 and #2 definitely for the colors and mood, just goes to prove (especially for the Helios) that these lenses are still worth their weight in gold :)
And definitely agree on the last picture for catching the moment.
