Seems we share the same passion for dramatic sunset scenes.

On a hiking tour early October this year with perfect weather I was able to catch this sunset. Lenses were all Zuiko, 28/2.8, 50/1.8 and 100/2.8. They are all late models with MC coating and therefore very little fringing despite hard contrasts. All on Sony A7ii ISO set to 100.

The solar eruption bombarding earth sure showed up tonight. Up at the northern end of Priest Lake, Idaho, the aurora borealis was putting on a good display for cameras, though it was a bit dim for the human eye.

Nikkor 20mm f3.5 AIS, Nikon D850.
