Hello !
Please tell if you prefere some special adapters for the Sony nex .I've seen that there are adapters with a shoe for the tripod , wich are pricier .Do you think that they are better ? I'd like those without shoe .
What about the infinity focus ? Are there problems here too? _________________ Cheers , Teo

I have Nex/FD with a tripod mount. The mount is removable .. so you can unscrew it if you want.
You will need a piece like this if you use heavy lenses - otherwise not necessary.
I have several adapters with a zebra look (silver stripes - and they all all fine. About the infinity it is generally OK - i only had a trouble only with one 4/135 Sonnar in exakta mount. _________________ Stefan

I bought adapter with tripod mount what I plan to use with long lenses. If you not plan to use with long lenses. Without tripod mount just same fine, due large register distance difference very easy to make NEX adapter. I think almost any of them just good. I use almost always Pixco made adapters , inexpensive , quality Chinese made adapters. _________________ -------------------------------

All my other exakta lenses were fine. The repair man which cleans the lenses here told me that the infinity is set by a length of a small ring which is calibrated in the factory. I have asked him to shorten it a bit (part of a mm) and now the sonnar is fine too.

Here are some of my adapters ( there is also m42 and Minolta MD)
Most of them are fine. I don't like the L39 and M42 ones - where the internal part is screwed with 3 screws to the adapter body and it's very easy to rotate it if the screws are loose. I would recommend you to get a different type of m42 or L39/nex adapters.
