Very interesting, I've still got my film EOS600 sitting around with no good glass.

But will this adapter focus to infinity ?

Attention please :Infinity focus not,Telephoto lens can focus, the canon EOS 1serial need set up chin which can used

The translation leaves a lot to speculation. Confused

So no infinity focus. If you want infinity focus on Canon with MD lenses you have to replace the canon mount (like Koji did: http://www.pbase.com/kkawakami/rokkor_md_eos_flange_replacement)

Following links I ended up here -

http://digitalrokkor.altervista.org/rokkor_on_ff.html

where there's an excellent description of making a glassless adapter to fit MD lenses onto a Caon DSLR, the one in the pictures is a 5D.
The article also says -

2) The internal geometry of a Canon DSLR [3] is the only one compatible with the shape of the Minolta MC/MD mount.

So am I on a hiding to nothing wanting to use MD lenses on a film EOS 600 ?
