Rather than start a new post, I'm adding onto this one - hope that's okay. I've found that this Komine Vivitar is excellent when paired to a short extension. I'm using a 2x teleconverter with the glass removed, but I don't know how long an extension it is. One reason I'm having success with this combination is that I find the Vivitar very easy to focus compared to other lenses I have. It pops into focus very well. Here from yesterday...
