Some seal kit available on Ebay for other cameras, some seller make sets by himself. Ask them for your camera, I never seen this kind of kit for BCA.

You might try eBay seller interslice. He specializes in all sorts of light seal kits, and might be able to cut one for you.

I bought a kit from him for my old Canon FTb, and it's well done.

You can get some information here:
http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/sealreplacement.html

Jon Goodman is also the ebay member interslice. I got one kit from him and repaired 5 cameras with it up to now (with still some pieces left). You have to cut the right pieces by your own.

You can also contact the Kameradoktor (http://www.kameradoktor.de/dichtungengl/). He is a well known supplier of light seals in Germany.

Nelson, I think Jon Goodman may have stopped selling foam now. I once bought a pack of various types of foam but after that he did only sets for specific cameras, which wasn't what I needed. I got my last supply from here:

I don't know the bayonet mount Prakticas at all, but are you sure you need foam? All the older Praktica models used black cotton string, which was really good. It doesn't disintegrate like foam. You can get the cotton string from that link if you need it.

I buy sheets of foam - A4 sized with adhesive back and just under 2mm thick from a craft shop. It's perfect for light seals, a rotary cutter will cut it to 1mm wide without it tearing, and once in the slots it crushes down under the film door perfectly. I also get black sticky back felt from the same place which is good for the ends of the film door. It's dead easy to do, and the sheets are cheap so it doesn't matter if you waste a bit before you get it right.
I did a tutorial topic a while back, I'll see if I can find it.

found it. Very Happy

I use a strip of the same foam, or if that looks too thick a bit of the felt. When cleaning the gunky stuff out of the mirror damper you need to be much more careful, especially when applying any alcohol, I try to remove the old foam without any if I can. I just scrape what I can out and if there's a tiny bit of the old adhesive in the corners I leave it. I use a curved pick mainly for this, used carefully it doesn't scratch the surface - which will be covered by the new foam anyway - and the rigid pick is very controlable.
A good tip is to lick the adhesive lightly before you apply it and it will slide as you position it, then it dries and sticks.
