i like the look of your work. it is difficult to produce such detail in black clothing, and still keep it natural appearing ...

The answer is, soft light and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 180 2.8 P6 and BIOMETAR 80 2.8 P6.

Good series. I like it when people shoot portraits with wide lenses.

The 2nd pic looks quite grainy. Was this added afterwards or just high ISO?
