Am I to understand that you convert Angeniux movie camera lenses to M42? How do you do that?
Thanks,

Biotar 75/1.5 is just the cheapest lens from Zeissfans. So, I am quite sure he is not a fan of Zeiss. _________________

However, I really like what I'm seeing from the Angeneux 90mm f1.8...It has the best bokeh of the bunch and its almost as sharp as the Cooke. |
I like Zeissfans' pictures very much - but I regret I cannot agree with DSG that the Amotal doesn't have very nice "bokeh"! Rather, I think the way it renders the flowers in the background gives an impressionistic, even a surreal impression of the blooms and adds to the impact of an already very pleasing image. It would be good to see some more of Zeissfans' pictures made with this fine old lens. _________________ Stephen

I actually love #2 and #4's bokeh vs. the modern technically perfect lens. It gives it more of a mood and painting like. |

Me too, I much prefer the 'painterly' renderings of older lenses... _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |
