... thanks to a rangeforum.com forum member.

I have not yet finished its first roll - Ferrania 400 - but perhaps by day's end. I really like being able to read the selenium meter's swing-needle finding from on top in the little window beside the shoe, and the needle-and-notch in the viewfinder.

The meter image in the viewfinder is bold and bright, the frame lines are bold and bright, as is the rangefinder patch. And, I do not have to use my reading glasses to make meter readings or focus, which is really neat.

Congratulations, that's a nice looking camera.

I'm waiting on delivery of an Auto S2 that I found, sitting forlornly and poorly identified, without a bid, on ebay last week. Hope to have family pics of it with the C35...

That is a good looking camera! Is the selenium meter still reliable? After 47 years!?

The meter appears to be quite accurate. It gave the same readings as my SP1000, whose meter I know is right on.
I finished a roll of Ferrania 400 an hour or so ago and dropped it at Walgreens.
I might have blown a few landscape readings by forgetting it is a reflected-light meter. I will know tomorrow when I pick up the negatives and CD. I am still scanner-less for a while ... Crying or Very sad
The cam does need new seals, but I think it is light-tight.
