I plan on shooting them as a comparison, once the Bright Band one arrives.

I'll keep them all my friend, unless a better example of one shows up at a cheap price.

Welp, you need at least one more to complete your set. My Vivitar 200mm f/3.5 (Komine made) is like the middle one in your photos, but has a metal focusing ring instead of one with a rubberized grip. Mine's probably just a little earlier than yours. Has the built-in hood, too. I think I paid about $20 for it on eBay -- minty in Canon FD mount.

The tokina made are very similar to mamiya's TL/DTL serie lenses. I have the 2,8/135 and it's a very good one. And have reference of the 200 mm (the shorter the newer, and the larger may be a bit sharp).

Now Dawg, what do you think about your lenses? You have a nice collection of vivitar 200 mm lenses.

You are right and there is an early Kiron one too.

They are all pretty darn good. Almost on a par with the Asahi lenses.

Hey Big Dawg.
Which of the five is the best? Here is a Konica mount similar to that of the medium, Komine made. It will be as good as a Sonnar Zebra, 180/2.8?
If I start to buy Vivitar will be your fault ..

You won't regret it. The Komine made 200mm f/3.5 is very good. As with most of the older lens without the Apochromatic lens elements and the older coatings there can be CA as well as lens flair. Some worse than others and really dependant on where the light source is when shooting. Contrast can also vary from lens model to lens model. That Komine one is quite good though, as well as the Late T4 without the tripod mount and the f/3.0 Series 1 lens.

With my Komine-made 200/3.5, wide open there's some contrast loss due to a mild amount of flare, but this is easily gotten rid of in my image processing software. Stopped down a bit, it's fine. Mine's quite sharp, comparable to my Canon New FD 200/4, which is actually a very nice lens. The Vivitar has more flare than the Canon does, though, which is not surprising considering the difference in the coating technologies from the two eras.

Thank you very much, big.
These lenses, aside, do other work. Makes you a happy man.
At least that appears in your photo.
Greetings and congratulations again.
