(This lens was kindly provided by Mr. Chan https://chan.nds.hk/blog/?cat=2381 for a quick review)

A modern Sonnar type short telephoto with 5e/4g. This lens features a coma correction adjustment which is set to 3-meter by default. All the photos are taken with the default settings.

The lens is decently sharp at the center at F1.5. The mid-frame is not bad either. For the corners, it seems it will never be sharp, which might be caused by field curvature caused from thick cover glass.

High levels of coma are expected at wide open for such design. Flare resistant is ok by my standard. For bokeh and CA, please refer to the photos.

Overall a pretty interesting lens. It weighs only ~200g which focuses pretty fast on my EA7 AF adapter.

Here are the sample photos resized to 10MP. It is best to download the photo and view it at 100%.

Friends Thank you!
This is the lightest and smallest Sonnar for this specification.

Sorry guys. I thought it is a vintage lens unknown to me. Google saved my ignorance.

thanks, those are some very moodful pictures. I like MS's approach of character over perfection.

I don't even remember this lens when Mr. Chan give me this lens for a quick test. It has some similarity with my Jupiter 9 which is a pre-war zeiss sonnar copy.
