Just bought a EOS 60D, Canon flash, Manfrotto tripod, Sigma 17-70 (yes, AF Embarassed ) in an online shop. Good choice for my manual lenses I hope? Will be a step up from my 350D Wink

And I bought zewraks whole collection. (Takumars mostly). Soo.... more photos coming from me.

And the sun is shining, christmas beer just opened...

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!

Come tax time, a 60D is in my line of sight also. I currently shoot with a T2i (550D). I wouldn't be "upgrading" at all if the T2i had ISO stops in 1/3 increments instead of full stop. What ticks me off is that most of the price of the 60D is for features that I wish the camera didn't have. Articulating screen is worthless to me, I don't do video or use live view. I am however worried that I might break it off. Wonder if I can just hot glue it in place? I don't want to use "creative filters in camera" that is what Photoshop is for. I've been playing with one in the local shop and the little button in the middle of the mode dial really gets on my nerves. Still I can barely afford the 60D, so the 7D is out of the question. Wait, is that a lottery ticket someone got me for Christmas? Hey I can dream can't I? Laughing

I love mine. If you shoot as much as I do, you might wanna get a big external hard drive.
Enjoy!

The Sigma is an ace lens. It was my #1 lens until I moved to FF.

It has arrived, but I need to learn again, it is a bit different from the 350 Smile

Why not consider an used 5DI? You can enjoy most of the Manual lens..... Thumbs up for 60D.....
