I did loan this camera from friend of mine, looks in perfect working order. What a pity no good light at all on these days. I am really curious how it's perform , my previous Moskva-5 was okay I wish to see more from this camera.

Maskva-2 is a very nice camera indeed. Good luck using it. From what I have heard it`s very well built and does indeed produce exelent photos. . I personally love that old`ish look. Late maskva 4 and maskva-5 lost it`s charm with the new design. Smile

I agree, finally I decide to buy it, without any trial , feel good to have it at least for a while. Let we see how it's perform in ideal lights at spring I am curious. Now I have two Russians an Iskra and this Mockva-2 Smile

I found one at a good price, bought it on last Friday, had it in my hands Monday, and sent the first film to Dwayne's Tuesday! Happiness is in these small things Smile

Hey better than mine Laughing lens serial number is start with zero! Congrats! Lovely camera I really enjoy to use it, rendering like old Ikonta a bit dreamy , quiet special.

Thanks, I'm excited. The camera serial number starts with 50. The bellows don't accordion cleanly but are tight, and the tripod bushing is missing from the bottom - I probably can scrounge one that fits from one of my other folders, if I really needed it. Can't wait for the film to come back!

These are made in 195x so normal serial, lens serial is dedicated to something , if lens parallel with back and film flatness is right , shutter speed etc I expect wonderful results. This camera is one of the best deal currently I strongly believe it.
