I have the same feelings as Orio

Yes, that "jurassic forest" is certainly an unusual area. Thank you, poilu!

Thanks Larry for taking us along.
I can imagine being there on the trail.
The smell of the mountain air and buzz of mosquitoes is really close.
Excellent!

That's what I wanted! The buzz of mosquitoes and the smell of the air! Thanks for stopping by!

Laurence,
Very nice series! I like them all, but especially the composition of elements in #4. Where is this by the way?

JayT

Thanks Jay! This is about 68 air miles west of downtown Seattle.

Spectacular series!
#1 is redwood i presume.
The foreground flowers in the last image looks fun, or is it the PS clone tool Smile

Hi Sven! The big trees are Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata).

No cloning in these, though!

I wish my miscellaneous shots turned out half as nice.

I like the fog. Those types of shots always hint at something mysterious and just out of reach.

I wish I could do better at the "mysterious" feeling, because that is what "real life" seems to be in these particular mountains.
