hi again; this is my last initial post with the first 2 pictures featuring my mir 35mm and the last 3 featuring the zeiss pancolar 50mm. i look forward to all of your comments--i know i have a lot to learn!

thank you shrek--almost all of these initial photos are within 100 yds of my home--we have these currants everywhere, but the lens's color rendition, along w foveon sensor, is very pleasing to me also.

btw, i see you have a sony a100--that is the camera i used for the last several years. i am actually selling that rig (minolta 50mm 1.4; minolta 28-75mm 2.8-very sharp; minolta 75-300mm-surprisingly good at 300mm; sigma ex 18-50mm 2.8-disappointing lens; and my personal favorite sigma ex 10-20mm 3.5-5.6) to finance my sigma sd14 and manual lens purchases. if you go to my link on snapixel you can see some interesting shots with that camera, esp the sigma 10-20 and the minolta 75-300- as i see you like telephoto!
