Pictures made from the Mir-1. M42 mount, black version.

On September 8.
Only minimal adjustments to white balance, contrast and exposure.

Another GREAT treatise on the merits of the "underdog" Mir-1 lens!

The images are ultimately interesting, and VERY sharp! Good compositions, and I LOVE the one with the wooden poles holding up the building, because the sense of perspective takes me along the lineup of the poles.

This is really very good work! It makes me anxious to see more work from you.

A very nice set. Sharp, wonderful colours and a nice tour. I agree with Laurence. This lens deserves greater recognition.

Nice series. It's always reassuring to see a good run with one of these underdog lenses.

thanks for your kind remarks.

I think that mir-1 is a very good lens, provided you have the chance to acquire a good copy ...

I also find the pictures interesting, as I like to look at pictures of places I have not yet been too, to get an idea, but VERY sharp??? Maybe it's my old eyes, but
I'm definitely missing sharpness in some of the photos.

Those that are sharp suffice.

Very nice captures of an interesting place.
I also have this lens but haven't tried it out so much yet.
