My local camera shop has this lens for £149 (about $300). Is this a fair price?

I remember one on ebay gone for 110 Euros. Be patient and you might
get one at a better price.

There is a diference between local shop and ebay.....you can check the lens before buying,
Perhaps the price is negotiable?
