Over the last few months I have accumulated this outfit, all in near mint condition.

Wow, Edgar. Very, very nice. They look in super condition. Oddly I landed a 4/70-210 myself last week.
What are your feelings about using the camera and lenses? Was the X-500 the right choice for you? _________________ Peter - Moderator |

Peter, as you know, this combination is a joy to use! I bought the X-500 over the X-700 on your recommendation and I now find myself using it more than any of my other film cameras. The 35-70mm is a wonderful lens, it is silky smooth in operation and the resulting slides are fabulous! I haven't used the 70-210mm much yet. I've ordered an adapter for my NEX and am looking forward to using these lenses on a digital camera. _________________ "I've got a Nikon camera, I like to take a photograph" - Paul Simon |

Nice set! I like the X500.
How is the 70-200mm?
I always used a Vivitar S1, never had the Minolta. |

The 70-210mm is a lovely lens - silky smooth in operation and a lot lighter than my Vivitar Series 1. The quality of the results isn't bad either! Leica agreed, as they rebadged it for their own cameras. _________________ "I've got a Nikon camera, I like to take a photograph" - Paul Simon |
