I made such an Minolta SR to Canon EOS adapter two years ago. Today such adapters made of metal can be found on Ebay sometimes.
I did not make too much experiments, but for me it seems one need to modify the lens a bit, otherwide the cranks could scratch / block on the camera parts.
Probably it works without modification when the adapter rotates the lens in the mount (lens index no more on top, but probably on bottom). I used such rotation on thin extension tubes. _________________ Camera modification, repair and DIY - some links to look through: http://www.4photos.de/camera-diy/index-en.html
