There's no post for this good lens so I thought I should start one.
It's optically clearly one of the best very fast 50mm low budget lenses and it has fantastic haptics - it's even better than Yashica ML 50/1.4 and a few more famous lenses.

#1

Wide open, no sharpening or other PP but BW conversion and digital red filter with Silver Efex
Sony NEX-3

#2

Psychedelic Circus
F5.6, no noteworthy PP

I love the first two picture but the second one stands out to me the most. Maybe for all the color...I like color.

Very nice results! I have an older 58mm f1.4 that I ought to get out more. You've inspired me

A analog B/W potrait I've made in an Ikea cafeteria 2 years ago Smile
Minolta XG9 - Minolta MD Rokkor 50/1.4 - wide open
Film: Superpan 200 @ ISO 200, cold concentrated parodinal. 1+12 - 9 Minutes.

Digitalizied with macro lens and DSLR, modified slide projector as light source. No digital PP except invert.

I have some nice images from this lens

100% crops

The first image has made it as finalist in a competition and is going to be published in a book.

Both images were shot on a Nikon D3200 with an glassless adapter so essentially the lens has become a macro lens.
