Nice to see rare lenses in action, I think I never seen before 400mm f4 shoots.

Good samples! I´ve got the Zoom-Nikkor 50-135/3,5, too. A very nice lens.

I still think that the Panasonic engine renders very natural colours, some argue a lack of saturation, but I think that we have become far too used to the overly brilliant hues some digital cameras produce, and that the
Panny L1 has a very film like quality rather than brash and bright?

Doug

PS My thoughts to those members and members with loved ones in Japan. The wave hit the Oregon coast yesterday - mainly damage to moored boats, though one foolhardy photog who stood on a rock in the middle of the beach was lucky not to drown.. The fool wanted to see it close up! Darwin was cheated! lol

The L1 is a fscinating cam!
I wish I had one, but my wife would surely hit me if I added another system to my collection. Wink
