I like my Pentacon 4/200, only paid 14ukp for it.

There is practically no end to the extent of detail you can squeeze out of this lens wide-open.

Very, very low CA. But it's true that they have not a lot of contrast.

My son in law purchased a nice tele takumar 5,6/200 and it has very low CA too.

Aren't most lenses cutting down on CA pretty well by f4-5.6?

In my experience, you are right. Only if you take the 4-5,6 as closed aperture. If you considere them as wide aperture, not.

Perhaps some, not all. I remember the Super Dynarex 5,6/350 voigtlander lens with more or less CA at the entire range of apertures in medium contrast images. And there are a lot like this, I guess.
