Did I order the right adapter? The lens doesn't have the protruding thing that many Exakta lens do.

This is what I ordered: http://is.gd/iRPPC

This is my first Exakta mount lens. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Keep in mind it has very unique character "romantic" I think, don't be disappointed if you not find to be nice on ordinary subjects.

Atilla, yes I got it to play with the crazy bokeh. Surprising that I found what looks like a very good clean one in my local camera shop.

I want to do some portraits with it too. Will be using it on a 1.6 crop camera.

I use it on FF and it's a great lens when you aren't looking for razor sharp images.

Wide open dreamy flower shots are the main use for mine. I don't like soft lenses for portraits (and neither do any of the models I shoot).
