On bellows, NEX C3. This dialyte has decent sharpness but all those uncoated elements mean low contrast and a certain lack of brilliance. I plan to try this on the RB Graflex.

I fixed levels, contrast, color and sharpened this one

For this, I left things as is save for resizing and bringing the black up to where the histogram starts.

Looks good to me, dialytes are known for their sharpness, but 8 uncoated air-glass surfaces does make for low contrast, that was why the Tessar was so popular before coating - only 6 air-glass surfaces so greater contrast.

I just tried out a similar dialyte, a Hofmeister Jena 6.8/13.5cm on my NEX-3, I like it, low contrast but very sharp and very nice rendering.

Thanks for the link !
Never saw this Ihagee catalog before.

Now I want one of those folding reflex types. Probably no end of mechanical trouble though.

This lens is post-1929 or so because the Compur is the rim set type.

Its a cheaper lens (smaller aperture, not a Tessar, etc.) and a bit unusual to find in a Compur.
But of course the option is available in the catalog.

I'm quite envious, it would fit nicely on my Century Graphic 23! Smile
