A Great Camera Club / FLICKR Mate loaned me a German 'Staeble-Lineogon 35mm f3.5 M39 screw lens -- it fitted my 1934 LEICA II but every shot was way out of Focus, so I tried it on my 1961 ASAHI PENTAX S2 M42 using a M39 to M42 Ring Adapter and it WORKED but only for 'Close-ups' -- I also was testing a Lloyds Pharmacy 200ASA C41 film given to me by our Youngest 16 year old Camera Club Member from his GranDad - it came out at 80 ASA best after initial tests. I took a BORING outdoor snap in very poor Winter Light in our back garden then tried a FLASH shot with my Vivitar 283 off Camera at f8 and f16 and got some great sharp results. Here is one at f16 -- it was useable at full aperture too

That was to be expected - your Staeble Lithogon was made for e. g. the Braun Paxette cameras:

The Braun Paxette flange distance is 44.00mm, and the thread is 39mm x1mm (as opposed to 28.80mm flange distance and 39mm x 1/26" with the Leica thread mount LTM).

Your 35mm lens would nicely complement my own very small collection of Paxette lenses, the Stable 2.8/45mm and the Staeble 5.6/85mm (see above)! Enjoy the lens Wink

The paxette scam!
Not really a scam but unknowing sellers sell these as LTM/M39 to unknowing buyers
Check out this article on my web page about LTM/M39
