A Great Camera Club / FLICKR Mate loaned me a German 'Staeble-Lineogon 35mm f3.5 M39 screw lens -- it fitted my 1934 LEICA II but every shot was way out of Focus, so I tried it on my 1961 ASAHI PENTAX S2 M42 using a M39 to M42 Ring Adapter and it WORKED but only for 'Close-ups' -- |
That was to be expected - your Staeble Lithogon was made for e. g. the Braun Paxette cameras:
The Braun Paxette flange distance is 44.00mm, and the thread is 39mm x1mm (as opposed to 28.80mm flange distance and 39mm x 1/26" with the Leica thread mount LTM).
Your 35mm lens would nicely complement my own very small collection of Paxette lenses, the Stable 2.8/45mm and the Staeble 5.6/85mm (see above)! Enjoy the lens
