Thanks for that link. Hmm . . . whereas Tudor is supposedly defunct now, the Memories still seems to be going strong. I decided to do some googling and found a little more info about it. Here's a review in which the reviewer has pretty much reached the same conclusion I have about it:

Found this thread at Flickr:

Other than those, there's not much about it on the 'net.

Hmmm......The only other cheap film in the UK is Kodak colorplus 200asa for a £1.

It's not bad, not at the price anyway.

Yesterday as I was passing the chemist shop where I normally buy the Colorplus 200 for a£1-00 a roll I called in for some, but they had none until new stock arrives next week. I can wait, it's no problem.

On the way home I passed another chemist and called in on the chance that they might have some, which they did, but it was £1-75 a roll and the woman serving got very bitchy when I told her that I only ever pay £1-00 a roll for it, and basically she ordered me out of the shop, I was leaving anyway.........

Today I had to go to another local town and called in at a chemist shop there, yes, they had it in stock but at £4-99 a roll. So I put them right as well.

And I still haven't got any bloody film ! Laughing
