I got one from Alex to test it long time ago, I didn't try it yet. I thought cheap filter only for transparent lens cap. I was wrong , filter is invisible on pictures at least with my crop camera Panasonic G1.

I have a few Massa filters, and I'm generally pleased with their quality.

Optically, they are of a good quality, as evidenced by the UV and CPL
filters I have used. Not excellent, but good, and certainly not poor.
I had to clean an awful lot of haze/fog off of the Massa filters
I received, but I consider that a minor inconvenience in exchange
for the low prices I paid.

Physically, they are of substandard quality, using plastic rings to secure
glass into the frames, and visible fingerprints found between the glass
layers of bonded polarizing filters. Threads have not been a problem for me so far.

Fortunately, fingerprints within an outside element show nothing
in the final image, so I'm okay with it at the prices I paid.

Massa filters are generally good in quality, but there are the occasional
problems with quality control. For the prices, Massa filters are a great
alternative to others, but they are not up to the coatings and quality
standards of B+W or Hoya Pro and some others.

If Massa can improve their quality standards, especially with final assembly
of multilayer glass, they may be able to compete closely with some of
the bigger names on the market, at a much lower cost.

I have mixed feelings about those cheap chinese filters.

the UV MC was a decent filter but the polariser was a total crap - with polarising effect and build quality much worse than my old CZJ linear polariser.

I have tried a few different cheap filter brands. The uv filters seem to be fine on any lens as long as they are multicoated. The CPLs are good too but tend to only work well on lenses up to about 50mm, this has been discussed in another thread but basically they work well on wide angles lenses for the price but will affect IQ on longer lenses, if you intend to only use it on a wide lens then you can save a lot of money.

Brands I have used include tian ya, green. L. and sakar.

do you know how Massa compared to Jyc (UV and CPL)? The Jyc filters seem to be a tad more expensive...

No idea , but Massa is invisible on photos, means it is perfect to me as lens protection.

I used to have a Massa filter which also was a very good one.
Somebody wrote that they are similar to Kenko filters. (I guess it was Kenko...)
