Interesting bokeh on full frame. I would not have thought it capable of so swirly based on my APS-C images.

I was surprised with the bokeh on FF as well, esp wide open.
The lens has somewhat harsh bokeh and I knew that on crop sensors.
It is a bit sharper than pentax M50/1.4 at f1.4. I think it is a trade off sharpness vs soft bokeh.

Yes, I use with a hood but no filter. I think the hood may cause a bit vignette on the extreme edges.
Metal hood ~2cm long for normal focal, same hood was used on the yashinon tomioka f1.2.
