I took the EOS 3 with me as well as the 5DMII. I really like this camera.
I'm anxious to try Bill's porta.

EOS 3
Helios 44M-4
Kodak gold 200

A logging road.

Wow, what a handsome set of photos, luv all of these, Ron! The Kodak Gold
200 certainly treated you better, or maybe your processing lab.

How do you like these compared to your digital files? I really like the mood
in these.

Thanks Bill. I appreciate it.

Good old Wally world developing. As I remember $1.78 to develop. I think they have fresh chemicals on Monday.

I like them both very much Bill. I will say that film has a certain character that I like. I believe after looking at your wonderful provia shots that I'm going to love provia when I get some. For what you pay though, I like the gold quite well. I also had good luck with fuji superia, but haven't used any in a while.

I am quite impressed the way the helios 44M-4 works on this camera. Actually I'm quite impressed with the lense on any camera.

It's a Biotar copy and reminds me I need to use mine more. One of the best
first-buy manual focus lenses there is.

Hi

Very good athosphere in those shots, ( 3rd 4th very good ! ) must be a nice place to see. As for the shots, well the rendition of the lens is very sharp, i have a Helios which satisfies me as well, in sharp/blur motion. The Kodak film gives very natural color, i shall try one of those films.

Thanks for looking and the comments Hexi.

My main reason for showing these was for a comparison of film and the 5DMII shot within minutes of each other.

I have to try some porta and see what I get.
