Today we had some mixed weather here, but when the sun broke through the clouds I was finally rewarded wth some magical rays of light.

another one with the Pentax-M 2/28




Yes, the amount of CA is at least stopped down very low.
But it is not completly abscent, especially the SMC Pentax M 2/28 shows some CA.
IQ wise the SMC Pentax 1.8/55 was a big surprise for me, it seems to be even a tiny bit contrastier than my beloved Pentax M1.7/50,
If I had to jugde it I would rate it close to the Leica Summicron-R 50. I think it´s a kind of an underrated treasure.
The Leitz Elmarit-R 2.8/135 indeed is a solid performer, I like this lens, It´s really sharp, contrasty, build like a tank, but I think there might be other (cheaper) lenses in this focal leght which are as good or even better.
