I made a lightbox for wristwatch photography out of a few ribbons that I formed into a cube and painted white. I covered the cube with white cloth except for the side that faces down. I left a hole for the camera on the side, with a loose flap. I will post pictures later.

A box like this works well for most small objects and is excellent for taking product pictures of lenses for example.
