Hello,
The OM 1,
Has a tricky lightmeter...
Responds when a lens isn'tmounted.
Doesn't when ther is.

There is a mechanical malfunction. The ring in the mount that engages the aperture lever is connected to the meter through a set of strings and pulleys - most likely that's where the problem is.
