I haven't tried this outlet, but I am wary of things like tax and import duty.
I was looking at a "simplyelectronics.com" a couple of days ago for a 5D Mk2 and their price was by far the lowest. However, checking them out on the net, they appear from their website to be a UK operation, but in actuality are a Hong Kong outift. Nothing wrong with that per se. But the matter of who pays the import duty and VAT on goods they supply then arises. Their T&C's firmly state that this is the responsibility of the customer. But, since they APPEAR to be UK based it's very easy to ASSUME that import and VAT have already been paid - only to be hit for them later.
I'd check this aspect our very carefully before commiting to a high price purchase. |

Well... I asked the customs in my country and it is free upto 60 USD. It can't be very expensive afterwards (suppose VAT the normal percentage in your country and customs will vary from country to country).
The interesting thing is you have no invoice in the package and on the package they will print any sum you want. They always print a lower sum on my packages, althought I never asked for. The invoice sent online is correct.
Now here at me the customs guy simply take a look and says ok. Maybe in other countries they would do an evaluation if they don't believe you. |

But wait these are noname lenses, chance to get a 'door stop' is pretty high, for this amount or even less you can buy excellent well known Russian mirror lenses or with a bit luck Tamron SP 500 also. _________________ -------------------------------

They seem the same lenses you can find under Danubia, Samyang and other brands, with similar prices also in Europe. I noticed also a 650-1300 zoom, which is clearly identical to the Samyang one. _________________
