Where can I find a lense cap for my helios 44m-4? I also would like to have a hood for it but i'm afraid they can't be found.

Would a generic cap and hood not do Ron?

Any 49mm (?) clip cap and hood for 50mm should do.

Is that what it takes Bob, a 49mm clip cap. I don't understand, any 50mm hood will work?

I'm fairly certain the 44m-4 is a 52mm thread. For a hood, just look on ebay for a 52mm 'normal' lens hood. These are designed for lenses ranging above the standard 50mm so vignetting will not be a problem especially considering the helios is 58mm.
