On Saturday some friends of mine and I had a little trip to some observation towers in the West-German highlands.

2 nice images to show how beautiful Germany is !!

I can remember when I was a liitle boy more than 55 years ago I was at the "Hohe Bracht" with my parents. It is perhaps 50-60 km far away from us. At that time I have had a toy rocket which could be start in the sky with a kind of elastic band and returned to the earth by parachute.

Unfortunately one liftoff was wrong and I didn´t find my rocket never again. So if some will find some remains there pls give me a short notice.....

Both series are magnificent and I love the way this forum allows us all the privilege of visiting foreign parts without the horrors of modern day air travel.
