Tomorrow I will pick it up this camera with two lenses 2.8/28 and 2.8/60 macro to try it out before friend of mine sell it or I sell it to him.
Any experience ? Any special care ?

Any thought about their price level ? I know nothing about them, after a bit search in Google I know lenses are high class. I have no idea what does it mean 3Cam for example and how can I recognize it on lenses. Any help means a lot to me !

Hi Attila,

my tip (always depends on condition)

R3 Mot 100-200 €
2.8/28mm with filter size S7 160-200 €
2.8/28mm with filter 55E > 400 €

Macro 2.8/60 with filter size S8 190 - 250 € *
Macro 2.8/60with filter 55E 300-350 € *

* same optical formular, never changed during life time

3 cam = lens is usable with Leicaflex, Leicaflex SL1 and SL2 and R-Versions, means can be used with all Leica R cams (without ROM contacts with R8/R9 few features are missing)

I had it.

The cam front says MOT, but not motor for it, only a winder.

Very smooth. Nice cam. Nice viewfinder, bright one.

AFAIK, the 28 mm R is not among the better lenses.

The 60 mm macro is very good.

Good luck.

Rino.

As Rino said.

There are different versions of the 28mm available. Last one should be the best and is expensive. Regarding the 60er macro I posted here few images in the past. They never changed the optical formular only the outfit.

Check the battery contacts, sometimes there is some oxidization on it.
